About the experience
This one-hour flying lesson in Gloucestershire is the perfect treat for anyone who has ever wanted to fly a plane! What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for six months, for one person
- Available week round, year round, excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day
- The weekends can be very busy, so if a weekend date is preferred, we recommend booking at least four weeks in advance
- There is no minimum age, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum height: 4’10”, maximum height: 6’4”
- Maximum weight: 17 stone
- Participants must be medically fit with no colds, flu or ear infections
- You are advised to wear casual and comfortable clothing

Introductory Flying experience, Gloucestershire
An xmas present from the Mrs! Staff at Clifton Aviation are very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to chat about flying & answer all my questions etc. Once up in the air I was excited if a little nervous to actually take control of a real aircraft for the first time! Beautiful sunny day so got to also enjoy the scenery and do some basic maneuvers and operate the various controls. You can also have a video of the flight to take home which is a nice touch.

Flying Lesson Gift
It was a great experience, and Clifton Aviation were brilliant. I have nothing negative to say about it. Took my wife up with me & had a video of the time in the plane. I would love to it it again.

Awesome!
I was given this as gift from my other half for my 33 birthday. As soon I stepped into the office I was greated by a friendly lady who was very helpful who set me up on the breifing video after that I met with the Instructor who was very friendly and calm through out the whole 60 minute lesson. John explained everything very well and before I knew it I was in controll for the whole time we were in the air except for take off and landing ofcourse. After landing the lady in the office took me back to the plane and took some pictures of me with the plane I had just flew. There was no pressure to upgrade to the modern plane or to pay for any extras its was just simple and super friendly atmosphare the whole time I was there 100% would reconmend to a friend and now seriously looking in to doing my licence!

Great lesson, shame about the loo
On arrival, filled in a bit of paperwork, watched a briefing video, and then went up for the lesson with instructor Garry. Very friendly chap who explained procedures well and let me do a lot of the actual flying from a couple of mins after take off. Flew over my house and got lots of pics. I even got to line the plane up for landing and take it most of the way down, when Garry, of course, took over to land. Grand fun.
The only thing that let this whole experience down and preventing me giving it 5 stars was the lack of toilet facilities on site, which meant a half mile walk/ drive to the terminal building.
