About the experience
Take a seat in the studio for a private miniature pottery wheel session for two, led by award-winning, degree-qualified ceramicist Katherine Fortnum. Step-by-step guidance covers key wheel techniques, from centring clay to shaping tiny pots. Create a selection of unique ceramic pieces from scratch, then leave them to be bisque fired and finished with a coloured glaze firing.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website

- Recommended to book up to six months in advance to secure dates
- Minimum age: 8 years
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a full paying adult
- The studio is not accessible to wheelchairs due to steps
- Pets are not allowed
- Aprons are provided; personal aprons can be brought if preferred
- Dress for the weather as the studio can be cold, and wear older clothes as sessions can get messy
- Ceramic pieces can be collected or posted approximately eight weeks later, with postage available for an additional fee
