This private pottery experience for two will begin with a demonstration from award-winning, degree-qualified ceramicist Katherine, whose expertise spans over a decade. Step-by-step tuition will help participants handbuild keepsakes such as memory dishes, plaques or matching ring bowls, personalised with names, a wedding date or a meaningful quote. The studio will professionally dry and bisque fire the finished pieces

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available on selected dates, year round; exclusion dates may apply
• Booking up to six months in advance is recommended
• Minimum age: 8 years; under 18s must be accompanied by a full-paying adult
• Please allow three hours for the full experience, including a short period after the class to discuss the finished pieces and refresh. Please arrive five minutes before the scheduled start time
• No previous pottery experience is required
• Wear clothing suitable for working with clay, as it may get messy
• The studio is not wheelchair accessible, as access involves steps
• Finished pieces will remain at the studio for drying and bisque firing before collection; postage is available for an additional fee
• Workshop bookings are non-refundable; rescheduling requires at least 14 days’ notice, and the replacement workshop must take place within four weeks of the original date
• Participants should bring any refreshments required
