One Night Stay with Dinner and Fizz for Two at Denham Grove Hotel

Hotel was lovely staff superb didn't receive any fizzing?? Also very very dissatisfied we want told the pool area was closed from 9am till 13.30 Saturday morning...so we couldn't use it as check out at 11am

Had the most lovely getaway for 1 night. Everything was perfect in the hotel. Warm welcome, really comfy room, great dinner, breakfast. All we can say is Thank you. Great value. We will definitely be back. X

I have looked at using this voucher many times since Christmas. For months nothing at all was available (or maybe their website just wasn’t working). Then 4 or 5 hotels were offering this - none of which looked remotely appealing. Finally, this one came up. Reviews were good and, when we got there it was a decent hotel (even though HS2 was being built just across the valley). But, because we were using the voucher, we got a much-reduced set menu, served in the TV area of the bar instead of the restaurant, and 2 glasses of prosecco. The hotel was nice and the staff very pleasant, but we felt very much downgraded. What really irked when searching was that the BuyaGift site kept suggesting we paid more to get a better offer. One of the offers, for £40 more, was exactly what my daughter had paid for in the first place! I would suggest that "and fizz" implied more than 2 cheap glasses, and we would have preferred a monetary allowance on the regular menu rather than a separate set menu. All in all, we get the feeling that we, or rather our daughter, paid more for the voucher than we got in value. We are very disappointed.
