Enjoy a sumptuous fine dining experience for two at Hempstead House Hotel in our elegant Lakes Restaurant. Our A La Carte Menu will offer you a tempting variety of classical dishes, while also catering for the more adventurous palate too. The elegant Lakes Restaurant follows the classic style of the Victorian country house with it's crystal chandelier, fine china and silver cutlery. Really superb
This is a wonderful hotel and spa. Great facilities in the spa, the restaurant and sumptuous room. Staff could not be more helpful, they go the extra mile before and during the stay to ensure you have a good stay. Nothing too much trouble and anything that does need tweaking is done swiftly and a result found. My only criticism would be there is no lift and we did not know that and my friend struggles with stairs, it is an old house so not surprising but it should be flagged on the website so you can request ground floor. That said it has not spoilt our stay and I will certainly recommend friends to look at Hempstead House Hotel.

Girls Spa Weekend
We as a group of 4 booked a ladies spa weekend and the whole process of booking to leaving the hotel was great! Driving to the location was easy with lots of free parking spaces. We upgraded our rooms as all of the executive rooms were taken for that weekend for an extra (£30 per room) which is not bad.
The only downside to the whole stay was that the room gets really hot during the night, and the walls and doors are very thin so you hear every single noise from other guests listening to music in their room, walking up the stairs to their room and even the creaky floorboards of them walking around in their room. It's extremely thin so if you're thinking of a lovely quiet nights rest then I would not recommend. Other than that, staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the spa facilities are great and it can get busy.
