Great Gift
We chose afternoon tea at this excellent tearoom. Proper china crockery enhances the experience. There was plenty of food to eat including cream scones. I fully recommend this venue and the gift was an excellent idea.

Nice treat
This is a rural tea room, set back from the main road with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and found time to chat even though it seemed quite busy.
We started with a couple of glasses of prosseco and then tucked into the food. The sandwiches were very tasty, the choice of scones extensive (both sweet and savoury) and delicious 3 cakes each. Everything made/ cooked on the premises. We took a cake each home for later!!

An afternoon tea with the best choice ever
The balance of sweet and savoury was spot on with an extensive choice of different scones again both sweet and savoury. Service was prompt and the people very friendly Accessibility by car is good. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Afternoon tea
We both loved this venue. Excellent, friendly service from the staff and management. Beautiful setting in the Forest of Dean District, Gloucestershire. Very good quality sandwiches, scones and cakes. Plenty to do in this area with the River Severn and Forest on the doorstep. So an ideal watering hole for walkers, mountain bikers or vehicular travellers alike. Thanks.

Scrumptious afternoon Tea
We visited the 'Swan House Tea Rooms" of Lydney on our return journey from a stay in the delightful town of Great Malvern. On arrival we were greeted by a warm log fire and in what looks to be an old mill Cottage, the staff were fantastic and got us seated next to the cosy log fire. Tea was served and my wife was impressed by the olde worlde Tea service, but my eyes were on the three tier platter of delicious Sandwich's, warm Scones and selection of scrumptious Cakes. This place is unmissable if in the area, a proper little gem ?
