About the experience
Wake up to mountain air and the rush of the river on a two-night break for two at Afon Rhaiadr Country House, with a classic double room and continental breakfast each morning included. Recently refurbished, this 5-star Victorian house sits among the lakes, forests and peaks of Snowdonia, with chandeliers overhead and soft furnishings you'll happily sink into. Days here move slowly, which is rather the point, and you'll head home feeling properly unwound.

Fantastic Break Away
Gina and Gareth were fantastic hosts, the property and the room were just lovely, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! Lovely grounds around the house, and a great location for exploring the area.

Nice Gift
It did not meet my expectations. Breakfast was a cooked breakfast. No cereals. Room was small. On the whole it was nice but would not return. Owners were nice what little we saw of them. Everything was done on line to order breakfast and check in before we even left home.

Great stay
We have stay for Two Night Break at Afon Rhaiadr Country House in summer, it was amazing experience, just pure peace and relax. Room was clean and cosy with nice view. Breakfast was homemade, really testy. I would definitely recommend this place.
