About the experience
Make a splash with a wakeboarding taster session designed to get you standing up and riding in no time. After kitting up in a provided wetsuit, impact vest and helmet, a BWSW-trained instructor talks through technique before you head onto the cable tow. Practise your stance, dock starts, deep-water starts and riding in a straight line, with plenty of chances to build confidence and enjoy the thrills in the sheltered waters of Hove Lagoon.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available on most weekends from April–October, with weekday evenings and some weekdays from May–September
- Taster sessions usually last around one hour and may be shared with up to three participants; some sessions last around twenty minutes for one person
- Minimum age: 14 years
- Minimum height: 2ft
- Maximum weight: 120kg
- Participants must be water-confident and able to swim
- A waiver must be completed before taking part
- Wheelchair access is available to the main building and accessible toilet, though some areas may not be accessible by wheelchair
- Please bring a swimming costume and towel; wetsuits and safety equipment are provided
- Certain disabilities or health conditions may affect suitability; please discuss any needs with the provider before attending
