What do I need to know?

- Entry is included for both Wakehurst and Borde Hill Gardens
- Wakehurst is open year round, excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- Borde Hill Gardens is open daily from 14th February to 21st December, 10am to 5pm (until 3.30pm from 3rd November)
- Bookings must be made at least 14 working days in advance
- The gardens are approximately 10-15 minutes' drive apart
- Allow 2-3 hours at each venue
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- The majority of pathways at both venues are accessible for wheelchairs and buggies

70th birthday treat
Everything was straight forward and simple and just flowed.
The staff were helpful and informative.
Brilliant time overlooking nearly the whole of London.
Obviously the weather was slightly cloudy up there but the view was second to none.
We sampled a drink and it went to our heads as we were so high up.

Fantastic gift
We had a lovely day at Harlow Carr RHS garden. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting so there was plenty to see. Lots of unusual plants and trees to see and every plant was in good condition.

Worth the wait.
After having a couple of months difficulty redeeming our Buyagift experience, which was thankfully rectified by customer services. We managed to book RHS Bridgewater. It was definitely worth the wait. The grounds are great. The future plans look amazing.
The options for drinks and food were plentiful, albeit there was not that much choice and service was slow.
The shop was not quite as good as we had hoped. Neither was the garden centre. Yes there were some plants and they were quite reasonably priced. But there were not many garden accessories, tools, seeds etc…
That said it was still very much worth a visit and we will return…

What a lovely afternoon we had with pleasant and very helpful staff. Food freshly prepared and explained nicely when it arrived at the table what was included on the tea stand. Because it was my birthday I also had an additional tray of 2 cakes decorated. It was an afternoon to remember.
