Week Round Rally Driving Experience for One at Knockhill

Rallying is a sport that requires speed, concentration and sharp reflexes – here's a package that will test how good yours are. Set at Knockhill, Scotland's national motorsports centre, you will take fully race-prepared Ford Fiesta rally cars out over the purpose-built rally stages. After an introduction and full safety briefing from the highly experienced instructor you will get into protective rally wear, then into the car. Your instructor will act as co-driver as he talks you through the techniques you'll need to navigate the course successfully. After five runs through the stage you'll take a break, to revise what you've learnt. Then it'll be back in the car again for another four full power laps using the skills and knowledge that you've built up. The instructor will continue to give advice and tuition in order for you to get the most out of it. Then it'll be your timed stage: with the instructor as co-driver reading from his pre-prepared pace notes, you'll be pushing the Ford Fiesta to the max as you try to set the fastest time of the day. Even once you've crossed the finish line your exhilarating day hasn't finished as you will get to be the passenger as the instructor takes the wheel for a white-knuckle, high-speed run of the rally stage. You'll even get a certificate at the end. So, put the gloves and overalls on, do up your helmet and it's go, Go, GO at Knockhill.

What do I need to know?

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Minimum height: 1.57m/5' 2”
• Maximum height: 2m/6' 7”
• You must have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of one year. You will need to bring with you on the day. Photocopies will not be accepted
• Please make staff aware of any medical complaints or problems prior to the event
• If in any doubt about your suitability for the experience, please check with the supplier before booking
• It is recommended that you wear long-sleeved shirt, trousers and flat and thin soled shoes/trainers
• Please allow approximately two and a half hours for this experience
