About the experience
Yank the handbrake and feel the gravel spitting out behind you on a half-day rally driving experience at Silverstone Rally School, where a fully qualified instructor talks you through car control before handing you a rear-wheel-drive Subaru Impreza. You'll practise handbrake turns, power slides and pendulums on the loose stuff, so every corner comes a little more naturally than the last. Then comes the payoff: three laps of an authentic gravel rally stage, sideways and grinning.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Maximum weight: 18st
- Maximum height: 6ft 6in
- A full valid UK driving licence is required
- Available at Silverstone Rally School only
- Available most Saturdays and occasional Fridays, with a morning session ending at 1pm or an afternoon session starting then and ending at 4pm
- Duration: approximately three hours
- Not suitable if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or a back condition, or if you're pregnant
- Please inform the supplier of any medical conditions or health concerns when booking
- You can choose to purchase refreshments on the day for an additional charge
- Itineraries and vehicle models may vary; images are provided as a guide
- Please dress appropriately for outdoor activity and wear suitable clothing and footwear
- Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We're unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Optional cover/insurance deposit: Some providers also offer optional collision damage cover for an additional fee or may require payment of an insurance deposit. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues

Amazing experience, great fun
The team are really professional and accommodating. Everything was explained and the instruction was first rate. As for the driving, it's a lot to take in and gets you thinking and realising how skillful you need to be.

Birthday gift
Disappointed to waiting around a lot to watch other people take their turn. Had about 25 mins driving in what was meant to be half a day rally. Got there at 9.00. Actually drove at 10.45. Went home 12.30. To much money for 25 mins driving!
