Rained off until next time.

Despite the poor weather and a tube strike this was a fantastic day out. It had it all, history, a well explained tour and a splendid afternoon tea with like minded souls. Seeing what's happening to the last gasometer was an eye opener. There was everything for the statistically minded seeing the records going way back and a chance to pick out any Yorkshire stars from now to years gone by. A bonus was seeing into the rooms for televising and particularly the place from which so many well known commentators have kept us riveted with the window open to add to the atmosphere and the roars at fall of a wicket.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Greeted by the instructors when we walked in, and was shown to the Spitfire in my case, where everything was explained. The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave clear instructions about what to do. The take-offs, landings and combat scenarios were all thoroughly enjoyable and now I can't wait to go back and try the Messerschmidt! Very professionally run and highly recommended.

We loved our morning on the horse drawn carriage. We went along with our grandchildren and they had a super time and loved meeting the horse!! We would highly recommend.

I have now bought 4 of these spa packages, it is fantastic value, so easy to book. Absolutely worth every penny.

Lovely carriage ride with two rescued ponies. Cream tea for two was blooming lovely all be it a little messy with paper plate and plastic knife but nevertheless blooming lovely. The hosts were great and very friendly
