Overnight Luxury Escape for Two at Walworth Castle Hotel 10990855

Walworth castle is very peaceful and relaxing, rooms are a little dated but clean and the bed was so comfortable. Food was amazing had breakfast and evening meal, would go back just for the food excellent

After arriving and checking in, we went to allocated room where door was unlocked and found some one else's bags in it, the manager dutifully sorted it and gave us another room,could not have apologised enough, we had already been given a upgrade, I am afraid the rooms are not luxury, bathroom is tired and needs updating cheap toilet seat that doesn't match the suite and peeling paint, sofa very tired, the mattress needs replacing, One tiny soap and small shower gel. (get as much in a cheap B & B.). The building itself is beautiful. They did have a wedding on which we were made aware of prior to booking this was fine. Meal in the restaurant was very nice and staff attentive. Breakfast again was fine, nice choice of items, I had the vegetarian breakfast it's nice. All in all the cost of the room was £143.00 with £20 weekend supplement, definitely not worth the price.

Fantastic venue brilliant weekend

From the start of the booking, great locations to pick from, booking was easy both from buyagift and Susan at the hotel. Amazing place and wonderful service, will definitely be visiting again. Gave us the idea to use buyagift for a present for our son and his girlfriend, knowing they will have a great time.
