Yorkshire Tours

We had a fantastic day at Shawsgate Vineyard. The tour was extremely informative and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch consisted of cheese, ham, salad and bread with a delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was no choice, but the food was good. The wine tasting involved quite a lot of wine, and we were able to choose a glass of our favourite for lunch - something to consider if you are driving! I would highly recommend this!

We had a brilliant visit on our guided tour of Emmerdale village. Our coach driver was a lovely man who greeted everyone with a smile and a chat and had a great sense of humour. Our tour guide Sue was well informed about the history behind the soap, taking photos for us on our phones and keeping us laughing as well. All in all a lovely day…one I wouldn’t mind doing again! I would definitely recommend this trip and would be happy to visit again.

Although the actual tour was cancelled due to illness we still had the wine tasting. We were given a talk about the different grapes they use and how the wine is made. During the talk, by a very knowlegable gentleman, we were given a glass of sparkling rose wine then we had the tasting, a dry rose, a white and a red. They were very nice. We had a very nice time.

We were gifted the tour which included a light lunch by my son last Christmas. We were lucky with the weather and sat out to taste our first glass of delicious Carr Taylor English wine, which was delicious. The your began St 1pm with the erudite David in charge. There were about 18 people and 1 dog on the tour. We saw the vines and learnt some history about wine growing in England. A tour of the yard and where the wine was made ended with a sit down tasting experience. David was very entertaining and informative, and generous with the 5 wines and sparkling wines we tasted. All were delicious, all different, and it was really enjoyable. Lunch was then served downstairs, a buffet style selection of cheeses, pork pies, bread and salad.my husband doesn't eat cheese and we had been told an alternative would be made available. It wasn't, but it wasn't a huge issue.the staff were very apologetic about it as obviously the message hadn't been passed on. We ate our lunch in the sunshine surrounded by the vines in all their glory. Loved the whole experience and plan to do it again!

Haven't yet done the tour but very much looking forward to it! The booking of the tour was very easy and straight forward.

Lovely afternoon tea and very enjoyable tour and information about the winery. Bought this as an experience for ourselves instead of Christmas gifts

I extended the flight (made a £20 donation to Air Ambulance) and booked the co-pilot seat, which was well worth it. The views were amazing, as was the entire experience.

Fantastic flight. Thanks so much. This was a 70th birthday present from my children. A most memorable and uplifting experience.

Very well organised and all information was easy to follow. Six great locations which we would not have found on our own. Can definitely recommend and would book with them again.
