About the experience
Sign up for this experience and you will be getting to grips with the very best military hardware available, discovering the skill it takes to master the equipment. You'll get to drive an armoured personnel carrier and handle AK47's, MP5 machine guns and real rocket launchers in the armoury. You'll also drive a German demolition WWII Springer, a Gvozdika tank and a missile launcher and get to shoot 18th century style muskets. Learn Special Forces survival techniques in a woodland session and fire mortars and clay pigeons. You might even get to crush a family car with a Chieftain Main Battle Tank. For anyone who has an interest in the military this is a special experience for two, with the chance to get up close with historic vehicles and try your hand at a number of exciting skills.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- This experience is available on the last Saturday of each month, March - October
- Sessions run 9am – 6.30pm
- If you wish to alter a booking once made then this must be done more than 14 days in advance. You will not be able to change the date after that time
- Min. age is 12 years
- Min. height is 1.52m/5'0”
- You will need to be reasonably fit to participate, if in any doubt as to your suitability please contact the supplier for guidance
- Sessions run 9am – 1pm or 2pm – 6pm
- Spectators are welcome but will be subject to a fee (includes lunch, refreshments and various vehicle rides), payable directly to the supplier
- Min. age for spectators is 7 years
- You need to notify the supplier if you intend to bring spectators
- There may be other participants on this experience with you
- Please dress appropriately for the weather, including wellies and gloves. It gets very muddy and can get very cold
- Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty and wet for this experience
- Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We’re unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Most providers also offer an optional indemnity or damage waiver for an additional fee. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues
