Adventures In The East Of England

This was a gift for our sons 12th birthday which had us as a family laughing the entire course! Highly recommend as an activity that the entire family, whatever the age, can really enjoy

John was extremely patient with our group who had no prior experience and ensured everyone had a good opportunity to try the different activities… it was a great fun day out. Location is perfect for a walk, lunch and shipping afterward at Rushden Lakes. Would visit again.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left nothing was to much bother. When we arrived we went to the reception and was meet with a smile and ask if we wanted a tea or coffee before the experience was due to start .There was 4 of us who was on the experience but all of us had our partners with us and there was no problems with that and they was encouraged to ask questions if they didn't understand anything. The safety side was explained well and easy to understand . When we went out too shot at the clay pigeon's the instructor was excellent and all understood what to do. The instructor did really well as all of us hit some of the clay pigeon's. At the end of the shooting there was a short de brief and all of us had a certificate . My partner said even though she didn't think she would like shooting the hole experience was really good

I arrived a bit early but was guided to the reception to sign in and was able to start earlier than the time I had booked which was great. My instructor John got me kitted up and asked if the weight of the gun he selected was good for me and explained that I would need to be able to move with it smoothly while shooting. Next, we made our way to the first shooting area where John explained gun safety and the correct way to hold the gun while shooting. John also asked if there was anything I didn't understand to let him know and he explain again but using a different way to help me understand. Once done we began shooting which was great, John explained and showed you where the clay was going to come from and where the best point to start following it once it was released. While over my 1 hour of shooting, we went to the 4 different shooting areas which were all different, which made it fun and John would provide advice to assist me if my shooting.
