The underwater world is a mystery to most of us, but this experience gives you the key to unlock its beauty. Scuba stands for self-contained underwater breathing apparatus and that is what enables divers to explore the very depths of the oceans. This pool-based introduction will set you on the path to discovering the secrets beneath the seas. You'll receive a welcome and introduction from a fully qualified PADI instructor before being given a more in-depth tuition session on underwater communication, safety and the basics. Once kitted out, you'll get into the water for your first taste of scuba. You'll be amazed at the weightlessness and freedom that you feel in the water and best of all, you'll be sharing the whole incredible experience together. So, dive in and have fun!

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- The experience operates on selected weekdays and weekends, availability will vary between centres
- Time split between briefing and diving will vary depending on location, please enquire when booking
- No prior experience of scuba is needed but you must be able to swim to participate
- If you need to move or cancel your booking within less than 10 days of your experience date, then you may be charged
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Minimum height: 4'6"
- If you are over 45 years old, please notify before booking, some locations operate a maximum age limit
- This experience is not suitable for anyone who has a family history of heart problems
- If you suffer from any other medical conditions, please notify the supplier on booking
- Participants will be required to sign a health declaration before the session
- Proof of age may be required
- There may be other participants on this experience with you
- You will need to bring swimwear and a towel
- All dates are subject to availability

A great new experience for us

My son (16) & I, had a great time on a Scuba Experience for 2 with Divecrew at Reading - they use several venues but ours was at Abbey School, Reading which had a lovely deep, warm pool. We were welcome well and out at our ease. Sabrina was our instructor, helpful and attentive. Good, fun afternoon.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Provided by team Divecrew in Reading. Craig and Ahmed were very patient and made the whole experience fun. My 13 year old daughter and I absolutely loved it.

Short but Enjoyable

This was a Gift for my two children of 17 and 18 (boy/girl). I'll start with the positives - they both enjoyed the experience and found the instruction to be enjoyable and informative. The ability of being able to fully breath underwater was a revelation in its weirdness. However, although they didn't have any complaints, we (parents) as by-standers felt that the pool was possibly a bit too shallow for them. Also (another parental complaint) - the gift was sold to us as a 2 hour session although it was only for 1 hour. This was seemingly the fault of Buy-a-Gift (not the diving school). We would still recommend it as good value.

Really professional, really friendly, just out of this world!...into another world...underwater! Fantastic...enjoyed very very much!. Well worth the experience!. Diving is really cool. I'm still buzzing 3 days after it!??
