Afternoon Tea in East Midlands

My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing day out and the highlight was a very enjoyable afternoon tea at the idyllic Normanton Park hotel.

The guy who did the tour of the vineyard was excellent , tasting up to 5 wines the lunch was cheese ,pork pies salad and cut french stick buffet help yourself but had to buy any drinks with it , otherwise good

Easy to use website with plenty of choices for Afternoon Tea. Booking system is simple, venue offered numerous dates and times to suit me. Overall great value and easy to book, if you fancy a treat its perfect.

Had a great afternoon out with Alpacas and lunch, can't recommend it enough.

The afternoon tea was just the right size and very tasty. We have been before and will be going again.

From start to finish we had a lovely time. The gardens are amazing and very well kept. Then the afternoon tea even though extremely hot the staff were friendly helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend to anyone for a lovely day out.

I received a voucher for an Afternoon Tea for my 60th Birthday and chose to use it at Normanton Park Hotel, which is situated on the edge of the beautiful lake at Rutland Water. The service at the hotel was impeccable from the receptionist to the waiter who served us. We enjoyed a selection of sandwiches which were very tasty and fresh, and were followed by delicious sweet treats including a gorgeous cheesecake. Tea was plentiful and the scones to end our meal were light and fluffy with lots of clotted cream and strawberry jam - perfect. The setting for our Afternoon Tea was in the lovely conservatory overlooking the lake and we ended our experience by walking through the gardens of the hotel to the lake - perfect afternoon

The location is lovely - a pretty building tucked away in the countryside next to the river. Very peaceful! The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The afternoon was freshly made, with particularly lovely scones and a nice selection of cakes.
