Afternoon Tea in Northumberland

Lastingham Grange is the most perfect place to book for an afternoon tea being situated in a prime position in the pretty Yorkshire village of Lastingham. Booking was straightforward and on the day staff were very helpful and courteous while the food and drinks were first class. We were shown into a lovely lounge with comfortable couches and/or chairs and our food was brought to us. There were another 3 groups but the room was big enough so there was plenty of space between tables that conversations could be carried on without causing distraction to other diners. I would certainly recommend this experience.

Absolutely delicious in beautiful surroundings. What’s not to love!

Booked in advance and as we wanted to take dog, happy for us to be in bar area. Table was set and ready for us. The waiter was very friendly and chatty but not overly attentive , allowed us to enjoy our food Sandwiches fresh variety of sweet treats and lovely fresh warm scones. Thoroughly enjoyed. Surroundings were beautiful

Huge variety of gifts to choose from. Easy to follow instructions. SOmetimes some offers can catch you out in terms of booking initial voucher then having to pay substantially more for a specific date/tour etc so I would recemmned you to read all details and find out inforamtion via emails/phone calls before purchasing anything. Other than that, the process and events are outstanding.

We were well looked after, they allowed us to have the tea on Fri rather than the usual Sat. We much appreciated it. It was delicious and well served.

i was offered an afternoon tea via email offers but I could not find it when going through the spend my voucher page! Selecting an alternative was simple and although the process to ring to book then book via email was a bit convoluted it did work. The venue itself was excellent.
