Afternoon Tea in York

The guy who did the tour of the vineyard was excellent , tasting up to 5 wines the lunch was cheese ,pork pies salad and cut french stick buffet help yourself but had to buy any drinks with it , otherwise good

We visited Saltmarshe Hall as a birthday treat . The afternoon tea was delicious and the place ws perfect with stunning gardens. Hoping for a repeat visit soon

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with a lovely afternoon tea at Bagden Hall. Service was excellent, delicious array of sandwiches, cakes and scones! Lots of fresh hot tea to go round. Would definitely go back again!

what a christmas present! We visited the Vineyard in May and we had a brilliant time,it’s unbelievable how fruitful vines can be grown in Holmfirth. The Tour was excellent, explaining all the problems that have to be overcome and the wine production process in laymen’s terms. The wine sampling was spot on and afterwards we had an excellent afternoon tea with the most fabulous views. This Experience was 5 Stars ??

A lovely homely place for celebrating. Loved the fact the finger sandwiches were made to order and a great selection of cakes to choose from. Lovely attentive staff from our table of two to some of the large groups we saw.

Absolutely wonderful couldn't fault.

We were lucky to have the weather on our side - lovely warm sunshine which showed off the magnificent location - stunning country house with absolutely beautiful gardens - sat on the terrace and all we could hear was the birdsong - goat could mot have been friendlier or any more efficient - bottomless tea and coffee and just the right amount of attention to our needs - delicious food, all very fresh, including warm scones. Perfect quintessentially English way to spend a sunny afternoon.

This was a special treat for my mum’s 90th birthday. It was a brilliant afternoon, delicious sandwiches (extras offered), delicious scones, jam &cream and a delightful number of cakes including a Neapolitan macaron, strawberry cheesecake, mousse cake & sponge cake. We had 2 glasses of champagne & two pots of tea. Staff are charming and welcoming. A brilliant afternoon,

Veeno is a lovely rustic restaurant. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Made to feel very welcome. Had the afternoon tea which was delicious. Highly recommend.
