Cookery Classes in South West England

I joined the bird and blend tea workshop with my friend and it was a great experience! The lead had lots of knowledge in the teas we tasted and everyone was lovely. It was a great way to start the day off! I highly recommend:)

The foraging day was good fun and very educational, Kelly was a great host, I really enjoyed the day. It was nice to be able to change the gift had I not wanted to go foraging, that's one of the great things about getting a BuyAGift voucher

We both really enjoyed this. Beth was excellent, so knowledgable and a great presenter and host. We picked and ate several plants, and learnt about others which were inedible. We really enjoyed the meal at the end, so interesting to have a dish made including what we’d picked. Would recommend to anyone with an interest in knowing more about foraging.

What a fabulous day and so much food! Unfortunately, neither me nor my nephew read the detail prior to arriving so did not bring tubaware to take some of the food back with us but we learned so much and got hands on experience and fed like kings. It gave us a new perspective on BBQ cooking and not to be afraid to step away from hamburgers and sausages. We learned about how to use different woods and control fires and always trust in the cooking process. I am not a fan of gas BBQ’s so it was awesome to learn the traditional method of BBQ cooking and back to nature. The team was fantastic, and taught us well, making the whole day really enjoyable. We met a great bunch of like minded people which made the whole day extremely fun whilst learning, eating and eating some more. It was also on a cider farm, and the sun was shining, so what’s not to enjoy!! A excellent gift and would definitely book again.

Beth, our course leader, was very knowledgeable about foraging and explained things simply but with enough detail to keep us interested and safe. The food she cooked at the end was delicious and made us realise foraging for food could be both simple and tasty once we knew what to do. I would highly recommend it as a fun day spent out in the wild.
