Lancaster Experience Days

I received the voucher as a gift and shared the experience with a friend as a joint birthday treat. We have had a few afternoon teas in our time but we both agreed this was the best-quality afternoon tea ever. We had a large pot of tea each, so that didn’t run out. The portion sizes were decent, not tiddly, and the quality of every item was outstanding. Best of all were the sausage rolls (I wish they sold them to take home!) and a chocolate cheesecake to die for! We couldn’t finish everything but were promptly provided with take-home boxes so we could enjoy the rest at home. The setting was beautiful and the waitress was attentive, cheerful and courteous. I’ll be looking for an excuse to go back, and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful day out at Kew Gardens and finish it off with a lovely meal at Palmyra. The food was good, lovely to try new cuisine, and it didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend

So easy to use the Buyagift voucher and book with the Slug & Lettuce. All I had to do was give them the voucher when we went in for our Afternoon, which, by the way, was so lovely, great service too!

Just had a lovely couple of days here. You really feel the relaxed atmosphere when you go in and Nicky and Mark the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice, tidy and clean with all you need for a short break. The building itself is quirky and well maintained with lots of nice little touches that keep you looking out of interest, much nicer than these large sterile modern hotels. Breakfast was good and we had a great evening in the bar with Mark and some other guests, a real "must" to get the background and feeling of the place. We would happily go back to see them when the opportunity arises.

My daughter did a skydive with you today to celebrate her 18th birthday. I can't thank you so enough, from the minute we arrived it was a great atmosphere. Every member of staff were so friendly and welcoming. Joe the instructor she has was brilliant. The photos and videos taken are out of this world, so impressive and something to treasure!! Thank you to everyone for making it such a fabulous experience!

Lord Kitchener's Hotel was very good. Friendly, nice room and breakfast.

Gardens lovely, added bonus of being able to borrow a mobility scooter which meant mum could get round it all

It’s really fun. Ross is an excellent instructor who helps you throughout and makes the experience very intense and engaging. I highly recommend it.
