12 Lap Formula Renault Race Car Driving Experience for One

Buckle into the cockpit of a Formula Renault single seater for 12 laps of circuit action, complete with a full safety and track briefing, driving technique tips from a professional instructor and a helmet ready and waiting. You'll shadow a pace car for the familiarisation lap, learning where to brake and where to be brave, then head out alone for 11 solo laps. The engine howls, the corners come thick and fast, and you'll still be grinning long after the helmet comes off.

What do I need to know?

• Maximum weight: 19st
• Minimum height: 5ft 2in
• Maximum height: 6ft 3in
• Available for passenger laps on the day, subject to availability, for those aged 12 years and over
• Available at selected locations across the UK
• Available March-October on selected dates
• Available Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays for an additional charge
• Available 11am-3pm; a premium slot upgrade is required and charged separately
• Approximately two hours in total
• Not suitable for those with heart conditions or epilepsy
• Please inform the supplier of any medical conditions or health concerns when booking
• A valid full UK photo driving licence without restrictions must be presented; where an older paper licence is held, a valid passport, a utility bill dated within three months and a credit card for the collision damage excess must be presented instead
• Please arrive one hour before the experience start time
• Flat, narrow-soled shoes must be worn
• Face masks and gloves are optional and available to purchase separately for an additional fee
• Itineraries and vehicle models may vary; images are provided as a guide
• Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We're unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Optional cover/insurance deposit: Some providers also offer optional collision damage cover for an additional fee or may require payment of an insurance deposit. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues
