Afternoon Tea for Two at The Wild Pheasant Hotel and Spa

This was a gift I brought for a friend. The package included a treatment and afternoon tea at the hotel. The staff were very pleasant during our visit. The spa itself is small but this made it a more intimate and u was glad that the spa don’t over-book with people so it felt very private - there were even a couple of beds free by the pool. My treatment was the head, neck and shoulder massage and it was very good: not the typical type you have, but this one was laying on your back. It was truly lovely. The only gripe for us was that the sauna was out if order and staff had not mentioned this to us. This was disappointing. I would have hoped that the team would appease this by offering something in compensation-a free drink perhaps. The afternoon tea was ok-what you’d expect. Sandwiches and cakes. The team were quite accommodating to our dietary requirements but do let them know in advance, as I didn’t and they found it a bit difficult to find alternative fillings at short notice!
