Afternoon Tea with Prosecco for Two at Apley Farm Shop

This experience was brought for me as a gift from colleagues. Throughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Really easy to book, Apley Farmshop is really lovely. The staff were superb, couldnt do enough for you. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. The only thing was could do with some extra sandwiches. There was a lot of cakes. Any leftovers they supply takeaway boxes which was a good idea. I would definitely return and try the breakfast or lunch menus. I will be recommending to family and friends.

We received a fabulous welcome and were seated at a beautifully laid table with white table cloth and vintage china cups and plates. Food was delicious. Unfortunately the experience was a little marred by staff moving furniture around next to us.

First time at Apley Farm and setting is idyllic that’s why we chose it. Booked in advance and showed server our voucher for afternoon tea with bubbles. Got seated quickly, had hot drinks and afternoon tea served quickly but then we were just left and felt ignored. No bubbles arrived and no member of staff asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Called over a member of staff and asked for our bubbles as we needed another drink. Was asked to see voucher again which was shown. Staff member went but still no bubbles arrived. Steady flow of customers but not busy and at times our original server was just standing around doing nothing so can’t understand why we were ignored. Would have paid for extra hot drinks had we been asked. After waiting another 20 minutes we just left leaving food behind which we would have liked to take home. Food and setting good but service was terrible and we didn’t get what we paid for. Will not be returning.
