Blissful Spa Day with a 25 Minute Treatment for One at Walton Hall Hotel & Spa

I enjoyed 2 treatments in the spa, delivered by a lovely woman called Harsch. The treatments were very relaxing and I would return to her again. No question.The spa area upstairs is pleasant. You can relax in a large quiet area with unlimited teas, coffees, water etc. Downstairs at ground level, the women's changing rooms are adequate and they seemed clean enough to me. There were a few small details that could do with attention. No hooks on the backs of the shower doors, to hang your towel or for your own shampoo. You can't adjust the water temp from hot towards cold or vice versa, so if you're a Wim Hoff fan, this may not be the place for you :-) The water flow stops abruptly throughout your shower so you have to keep pressing the button to get the water going again. Maybe the water companies C.E.O.'s may like to contribute a few million off their bonuses to help out?:-) The pool is pleasant, with a shallow area for little ones. Initial spa building check in: I didn't get a sense of any real welcome from the front desk reception staff member - BUT there are often reasons for this - sometimes someone may be feeling unsupported in their role, overworked, grieving over loss - who knows? Overall a lovely relaxing few hours spent, in a gorgeous rural environment.
