- After booking, you will be contacted by the spa up to seven days before arrival to ask any required health questions and arrange any treatments that are part of your experience
- Should Afternoon Tea not be suitable, this can be upgraded (when booked in advance) to a 2-course Spa lunch at a cost of £7.50 per person, payable directly to the Spa upon arrival.

Huge disappointment
My daughter was not on their booking system. The gift and main booking was hers. When she was given the gift , she asked me to join her and I was booked in but they had no contact details for me and had booked my treatment for the same time as the afternoon tea. ( they had only one therapist instead of two that day so had to change the treatment time.) We had both driven for over an hour from home to Walton Hall. A young girl was in charge. It was her third shift on the job. She was alone and there was no manager in that day. To be fair she dealt very well with the problem and we felt very sorry for her. The problem was that the company running the SPA changed in May this year and they have admitted that most of our details were not transferred.
The girl in charge emailed her boss before we left and he responded late that afternoon, he admitted the problem and offered to book us in another day.
We do not wish to return to Walton Hall. The SPA was not luxurious as described but tired and in desperate need of refurbishment.
The hotel is also badly managed and disorganised despite being in a beautiful setting.
So all in all , it was a disaster. We wasted our time, fuel and money and above all what should have been a real treat for us both turned out to be stressful and disappointing .
We have asked for a full refund.

A nice day out
enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, sandwiches and scones were great, the cakes were a little disappointing. My treatment was done by a lovely lady and very relaxing.

A lovely little spa package.
Very easy to book. I have been there before so knew what to expect. You are given a robe, towel and slippers. You need a £1 coin for the lockers in the changing rooms which is returned. There are drinks that you help yourself to, tea, coffee water etc. The pool area was a little cool as was the pool this time. You certainly needed to keep your robe on when relaxing around the pool. It is not a swimmers pool and I had to be aware of mums with toddlers. The steam room was wonderful although a little small. The treatments were explained with choice of oils for the back massage. The facial was lovely, very thorough. Afternoon tea consisted of 4 finger sandwiches, 2 small scones, 1 plain & 1 fruit, clotted cream & jam. A small Victoria sponge, small banoffee tart, small brownie, plenty for me and I took the remains home. Very calming and relaxing. The staff are great.

Had the most relaxing afternoon spa. Lovely facilities, scrumptious afternoon tea and friendly staff. Massage was excellent.

Very relaxing day
We booked the spa and afternoon tea. The spa facilities were clean and importantly, not busy at all. Therefore we were able to relax and enjoy our day. The spa treatments were lovely and held in a relaxing room and surroundings.
