About the experience
Spend the day exploring two iconic spots in the capital! Start at the Buckingham Palace State Rooms and explore the decadent surroundings of royalty, with 19 opulent rooms to discover. From the throne room to dining room, take your time to admire all the intricate details and luxurious décor. Then head over to Knightsbridge for a cream tea in the world renowned Harrods! Enjoy a selection of plain and fruit scones with clotted cream and Harrods' own fruit preserves, served in the chic surroundings of The Georgian. All completed with a pot of tea crafted by the in-house tea tailor and a glass of Champagne each for an experience you'll never forget!
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- You will receive two vouchers, both are valid for two people
- These experiences can be used on the same or on different days
- Buckingham Palace State Rooms:
- Available weekround from 9th July–27th September 2026. From 1st to 28th September closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Entrance to the State Rooms is at 1.15pm
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Bookings must be made at least seven days prior to requested visit date
- Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable
- Please ensure you follow the booking instructions that are provided with your voucher in order to book
- Walkups will not be accepted
- There’s a lot to see so it is suggested you allow between two and two and half hours for your visit
- Comfortable shoes are advisable as the visitor route includes a half mile walk from the left side of the garden to the exit
- The Royal Collection Trust sites include airportstyle security checks as part of admission. Please assist in reducing the time taken for security procedures at venues, by arriving with as few bags and bulky items as possible

- Harrods Cream Tea:
- This experience is available all year round with limited availability on weekends
- Available to book from 12pm–6.30pm, Monday–Saturday (last sitting is 54.30pm) and Sunday from 12pm–6pm (last sitting is 5.45pm)
- Minimum age is 18 years
- Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements or allergies at point of booking
- Please enquire with the host team upon arrival to The Georgian if you are interested in an upgrade to Afternoon Tea. This is subject to availability

Great to see behind the scenes
had a very enjoyable couple of ours walking around some areas of the palace …. Some places that we have seen on news bulletin/magazines… interesting to walk along corridors that many famous people have graced…I’m not a royalist but was intrigued to see behind the closed doors. The tour moved well with an audio guide that wasn't too long or too deep… with a few notes to read as we moved thru the galleries…… would recommend it …….

So Very Spoilt
We had a few transport issues, so had to change the time but the staff were so very obliging. But that was just the beginning of my ill fated visit as I later dropped a jam plate. The staff were wonderful as I felt terrible. All I can say is that the service was amazing, the scones were delicious and the experience is one not to forget.
