Super day
Everything was superb from the lounge before, the beautiful train, fantastic staff and the delicious food and drink. Would have been lovely to have stopped off in Kent by the coast for an hour.

Stylish experience
Fantastic 4 course lunch served on board a 1920s Belmond train journeying through Kent countryside. Excellent service from start to finish. Staff were friendly, fun, attentive & knowledgable. Had a superb day.

disappointed the food was not that good and the scenery from the train was average.I feel sorry for my son as a gift he thought would be a real treat as i love steam trains

Bucket list dream
A big tick from my bucket list. Always wanted to have an experience like this. Wow!!! Outstanding and superb. From arriving at reception and given champagne or an 0% alternative we were welcomed by 3 gorgeous singers with the stunning train in the backdrop. Everything from start to finish was stunning and faultless. Amazing food a 3 course Sunday roast,followed by a cheese/ fruit board with crackers and fruit bread and chutney. Then to follow tea and coffee with chocolates. On board entertainment was excellent and upclose. The stunning art deco interior was so beautiful and with so much detail. Staff were so welcoming and attentive and friendly. They continually checked in on us. It also felt very intimate as the seating was very spaced out. Overall a 10 out of 10,I would highly recommend to anyone. They are very accommodating to wheelchair users and with mobility issues. Just 1 step up into m/out of the train. Toilets very accessible too and close to seating areas.
