You'll settle in for a royal afternoon tea of fluffy scones, a tiered selection of scrumptious sandwiches, fresh cakes and pastries like the Lemon Drizzle Madeleine and the Caramel Marshmallow Tea Cake. Choose your brew from a spread of teas, aromatic Darjeeling through to Earl Grey, or take coffee instead, all with the Royal Mews framed in the window of this 5-star hotel. It's a very British ritual served with a straight-backed sense of occasion, the kind of afternoon that stretches happily past the last crumb.
