Tin of sardines
Lovely and though gift, the comedians were really funny and had me and my friend in stitches.
However for some reason the venue (revolution de cuba) decided to squeeze everyone in so close together the person in front was practically sitting on my knee. Giving a really claustrophobic vibes, which was a shame as I'd been to a previous leeds comedy Cabaret show which couldn't be faulted.

Not Enjoyable Evening
Even taking into account an unfortunate last minute change of venue I wish I’d have been offered a refund. This was a so called treat for my husband’s birthday. The venue was so far away we had to get taxis to and from which added another £12 to the already expensive night as I’d booked a hotel in town specifically for the occasion. We were all made to sit on hard wooden rickety benches with no back rests which were very uncomfortable and there were no tables for drinks. I saw at least 5 kicked over by accident as there was no alternative but to put them on the floor with no offer of replacements by the bar. They were quite happy to take the extra money for drinks that were spilt on the floor. The 3 ‘comedians’ , none of which were listed on the website, did a max of 20 mins each and the event finished much earlier than described. So all in all an expensive night for 1 hour of village-hall quality acts. Very disappointing and will not be buying again. The stamp we were made to have on the back of our hands pretty much summed up the whole evening - it says ‘11 Mar 2023’. Very amateurish. Not happy I’m afraid!

Standard nothing special
The evening was very standard. Lots of chairs lined up together with no space. Bar not well stocked. No draft available. Compare was amazing and 1 out of the 3 acts was funny.

Great night, great atmosphere. David was the best host. Rahul was by far the best act. Really dnjoyed our 1st visit and without a doubt we will return

Impossible to book
Still haven’t managed to redeem this voucher as getting in contact with the comedy club to book is impossible. Tried to book a week in advance and didn’t get a reply till 1hr before the show started to confirm we were booked on at which point they cashed the voucher. However we had obviously made other plans by then and it was too late to make it to the show. No doubt but a gift is good with other offers but avoid the comedy club
