Whether you’re a fan of his plays or simply after a historical journey through the heart of London, this informative and interesting Shakespeare in the City Walking Tour is just the ticket! You will tour the city and visit places such as the site of Blackfriars Theatre – the lost sister theatre to the Globe, the spots where it is believed that Othello, King Lear and Macbeth were written, as well as the hidden monument which was created from one of his best-known speeches. Your tour guide will also act out some of the poet’s finest speeches, as well as tell you all about Shakespeare’s complicated personal life.
