Get some practice in behind the wheel with this junior fun drive experience for one. Ideal for younger drivers who are yet to pass their test, with this experience you’ll learn the basics of driving from an experienced instructor and get some valuable experience in a safe and calm environment. Start off with a briefing and demonstration from the instructor, learning how to operate the steering, clutch, brake and acceleration. For parents’ peace of mind, every vehicle has dual control so the instructor can intervene if necessary. Driving a Mazda MX-5, you’ll make your way around the track, practising car control, building confidence and even trying out manoeuvres like parking and reversing around a corner if you pick the basics up quickly!

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available Saturday afternoons and occasional Sundays, year round
• Expect to be at the venue for up to one hour, including briefings
• Briefings are held in groups. Driving time is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor and a maximum of two drivers are assigned to one car
• Minimum age: 11 years
• Maximum age: 16 years
• Minimum height is 4’8”
• Maximum height is 6’2”
• Maximum weight is 18st0lb
• Drivers will need to complete a disclaimer to participate in the experience
• Parents or guardians are required to sign an indemnity form on behalf of their child and must remain on site throughout the experience
• Participants must have reasonable fitness and no serious health conditions. Please inform the supplier of any health requirements at the point of booking
• Glasses must be worn if needed. Flat-soled shoes must be worn. Please dress in comfortable clothing
• Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt
