About the experience
Holmfirth Vineyard is home to a beautiful vinery and is the perfect place to enjoy a tour, wine tasting and lunch for two. Set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, an expert guide will be on hand to show you around this award-winning vineyard and tell you all about how wine is made. Then enjoy a tasting session, sampling red, white and rose wines and having any questions answered by the knowledgeable wine taster. Sit down to a delicious buffet lunch mad from local produce in the dining lounge which overlooks the vineyard and Peak District.
What do I need to know?

- Tours operate daily at 11am
- All bookings must be made in advance
- Any cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance
- Expect to be at the vineyard for around two and a half hours

The Holmfirth Vinyard Tour
The tour was great, informative and entertaining - Nigel the guide was very knowledgeable. the food in the restaurant was great tasting and good value for money. The gift however didn't include everything that is listed on Buyagift website as there is so much comission paid by Holmfirth to Buyagift, that they cant afford to give a bottle of wine away too. So whilst our gift value was £99.99, and we could have bought a tour with wine tasting, lunch and a bottle of wine directly from Holmefirth Vinyard for £95, we actually only got a tour, tasting and lunch. Better value for money if bought directly from the supplier.

The organisation was poor.when i booked my slot they told me it was mon to thursday,which wasnt right ,it said on my booking, sunday to friday. When we had lunch we were told we were allowed £17 each towards lunch,so we had to pay extra,i dont think there was anything for£17.Then we were told we dont get a bottle of wine to take home,so it was lucky i took my paperwork with me so i could have the wine.We paid £82 for this gift,it wasnt good value. After saying that the food was really nice ,
