About the experience
Take the wheel of a twin-turbocharged McLaren 570S and fire it down the straights of Thruxton Circuit after a full safety briefing, three passenger laps and three driving laps of the UK's fastest circuit. You'll warm up as a passenger first, riding alongside a professional instructor to learn the racing line before sliding into the driver's seat. Then it's over seven miles behind the wheel, putting the McLaren's speed and agility to work through the turns and along the straights. The professional instructor's demonstration laps show you the circuit before your turn at the wheel.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Maximum weight: 18st
- Maximum height: 6ft 3in
- Spectators are welcome
- Must be booked at least six weeks in advance
- Available on selected weekdays, February-November
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Please inform the supplier of any medical conditions or health concerns when booking
- Full British or international manual driving licence required
- Comfortable clothing (avoid synthetic fabrics) and narrow flat-soled shoes required
- Driving may be cancelled in extreme weather, with unused laps credited for another visit
- Itineraries and vehicle models may vary; images are provided as a guide
- Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We're unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Optional cover/insurance deposit: Some providers also offer optional collision damage cover for an additional fee or may require payment of an insurance deposit. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues

Excellent experience.
Went to Thruxton for the McLaren 570s thrill experience. The whole event was very well organised and everyone I dealt with were very professional. The sighting laps in the Ford Focus were extremely useful.
The McLaren certainly lived up to my expectations. The instructor Justin was very encouraging and gave really good feedback. I purchased the 360 degree video which is amazing.
A great day and one I would definitely recommend.
