Meet the Tiger Experience for Two at Dartmoor Zoo

Come nose to nose with Dragan, Dartmoor Zoo's Amur tiger, in a thrilling fence-line encounter for two as a knowledgeable keeper guides you, then enjoy a hot drink, slice of cake and full zoo entry. Hear fascinating stories about tigers, Dragan's personality and the history of tigers at the zoo before stepping close to the barrier for a vivid wildlife moment. Then roam the zoo and let the excitement linger long after the encounter ends.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Minimum age: 8 years, under-16s must be accompanied by an adult as part of the booking
• Up to four pairs share the encounter simultaneously
• Available to book up to six months ahead, with places limited
• Available at Dartmoor Zoo only
• Available Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11.30am, year-round (excluding 24th to 26th December)
• Encounter duration: 20-30 minutes, allow two hours in total
• May not be suitable if you're pregnant, have high blood pressure or are of a nervous disposition
• Please inform the supplier of any medical conditions or health concerns when booking
• Please inform the venue of any dietary requirements at the point of booking
• Most of the zoo is accessible by wheelchair and buggy, with some hilly, steep, uneven or muddy areas
• Please bring your voucher and email confirmation on the day
• All dates are subject to availability
