Meet the Tiger Experience for Two at Dartmoor Zoo

Get up close and personal with a fearsome animal with this Meet the Tiger experience for two people at Dartmoor Zoo. Go behind the scenes at the zoo alongside a knowledgeable keeper who will share fascinating facts about tigers, the personality of Dartmoor Zoo’s own tiger and the history of tigers at the zoo. Then it’s time to come face-to-face with Dragan, the zoo’s male tiger, for an unforgettable experience that’s sure to be something to tick off your bucket list. Be sure to take some truly unique photos, before spending the rest of the day exploring the zoo, with a delicious slice of cake and hot drink included for an extra treat.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11.30am, year round, excluding Christmas Eve to Boxing Day
• It is recommended that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment as places are limited. Dates are available up to six months in advance
• This experience lasts for 20-30 minutes, but please allow two hours for the whole experience
• Minimum age: 8 years. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult as part of the booking
• This experience can be tailored for all abilities. Please contact the supplier to discuss your needs
• This experience may not be suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has a high blood pressure or is of a nervous disposition
• Up to four pairs may be sharing this experience at the same time
• The enclosure grounds may be uneven or muddy depending on the weather. Sturdy and supportive footwear is recommended
• Most of the zoo is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies, but some paths may be challenging, with hilly and rugged areas. The team is available to help when needed
