About the experience
Spend a full day at Eastnor Castle Country Estate learning the art of throwing clay on a potter’s wheel. Begin with tea or coffee and a group demonstration, then move on to guided practice of the fundamental techniques with an experienced tutor on hand. After a break and a further demo on working with larger lumps of clay, enjoy an afternoon of hands-on throwing. Your finished piece will be left to dry for three weeks before being posted out as a keepsake.
What do I need to know?
