An overnight break at The Quiet Site in the Lake District is the perfect escape-to-nature experience. You’ll be staying in an eco pod which offers more protection than a tent, allowing you to camp in comfort. With room for two adults and two kids, each pod has all the comforts of home including heating, a power point, main lights and access to facilities including WiFi, showers, a communal kitchen and a games room. This award-winning campsite also features its own zero waste shop, café and bar dating from 1680. Perfectly placed to explore the stunning local area, the campsite overlooks Ullswater Lake from the fells.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• The camping pod can fit two adults and two small children
• Available Sunday–Thursday, year round, excluding the Christmas, New Year, and Easter periods, Valentine's Day, school holidays and bank holidays. Weekend and school holiday bookings may incur an extra charge. Please also note that some school/bank holidays have minimum night stays
• Check in from 3.00pm and check out by 10.30am
• Guests aged 18 or over are welcome and up to two children under 11 can also stay free of charge
• Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement
• Please bring camping equipment (excluding tents) including utensils, outside cooking equipment if required, sleeping bags and food
