Mercure St Paul’s Hotel Spa
The spa is definitely in need of refurbishment, it is extremely “tired” with paint coming off the walls, broken tiles and generally needing an update. The main areas of the hotel ie. Reception/bar and restaurant are lovely and the lunch we had was fabulous.
It important to say that the staff are exceptional, going above and beyond to be helpful and friendly.

Nonexistent Spa Day
Myself and my partner had an experience each bought us we booked it online as per the guidelines. We then waited to be contacted up to 7 days before as it states in the terms. We had no contact at all from the hotel . We tried ringing on the Mondat prior to our appointment on Wednesfay and found it impossible to speak to a person as we wished to move our day due to a sudden bereavement in the family .
I sent an email to the listed contact and recieved nothing . Then on the Tuesday evening recieved an email telling me what time to be there for on the Wednesday and what treatment I was having . This was not even the treatment I would have picked . My partner has never received any contact about any treatment for himself . I find the whole experience totally disgusting and lack of communication unacceptable. We were bought these days as a gift and feel that the person has totally wasted their money . There is a serious lack of organisation between your company and the hotels you use as part of your packages. I await your response on this situation.

Some feedback
Christmas present was the voucher and found the process to view and exchange the voucher really easy and simple to use. I exchanged the original voucher for this one and found booking a slot easy too.
I received an email to say the session had been booked and was told to be at the hotel for 9.30am and would have 3 hours within the spa. The email confirmation stated I had the option for a number of treatments, including a shoulder, neck and scalp. It was outlined I'd receive a health questionnaire to submit 7 days prior to going for my appointment.
I had no further information from the hotel.
I attempted to ring the hotel, without an answer so I left a voicemail. No response received.
I arrived at the hotel and was told my treatment was at 12.30. I had put 3 hours on my parking to coincide with the time allowed at the spa. I was unable to change the time of the session and advised I'd had no email to confirm the appointment time except 9.30am.
I had to then extend the parking as I arrived out of the massage at 1pm.
Another lady present was told to arrive at 9.30 but her treatment was at 3pm and hadn't been told so not sure if there is an error in the processing and delivery of information.
Furthermore I was asked to pay £5 to have the back and shoulder massage as the staff told me it wasn't included.
I am a little disappointed in the communication and unstructure to the plans and treatment times plus the additional payments I incurred.
Otherwise the several hours and the treatment given was really good and would recommend it from those perspectives. Not sure where the miscommunication or lack of communication comes from

However I was given contradictory information about how much time I could stay so I did not prepare for a whole day.Should also be clearer that a ba k massage is extra

Fantastic relaxing time
Really enjoyed my time in the pool and the gym, and the massage from Hannah was blissful! Will definitely do this again!
