About the experience

You'll bubble away the week before a three-course dinner at the hotel's country inn, then wake up to a full English breakfast worth lingering over. The morning belongs to Mill Wheel Spa, where a 25-minute Beach Hut treatment recreates the warm glow of a sandy beach, so you'll head home thoroughly unwound.

Cannot recommend
The place was lovely, but unfortunately we couldn’t stay because I had an accident just before I arrived, so we checked in & very shortly after, checked out to go to A&E ( broken wrist) The receptionist was very uninterested & cold. The staff in the dining area were extremely helpful & I couldn’t fault them. It’s a shame we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub garden & spa & dining, but I would never go back there due to the u caring/ unhelpful/ unprofessional attitude of the receptionist. She would be better behind the scenes, not at front of house. I’m too polite to go into detail, but never again….

Private Hot Tub means personal but not "privacy" I guess.
Fences are too low, regularly make eye contact with the next room over or even people in the car park. And at one point, someone just opened the window of the room above and said hello. Not really what you want.
We were unfortunate to go on a rainy day - which you can't blame them for of course - but they don't have any kind of brolly or awning (which would've solved the problem with the unwanted visitor too)
The food was also not great, masterchef looking plates with gels and tweels dotted around but everything on the plate was too sweet or didn't match, style over substance is definitely the term. Also almost everything good cost extra over the pre-pay from the voucher, and not a small amount extra either, some additions were close to the cost of a whole meal in some places.
The room was otherwise nice and clean and the staff were pleasant.
