Private Ceramic Pumpkin Making Experience for Two at Katherine Fortnum Ceramics

Seasonal creativity will take shape during this private pumpkin making experience for two at Katherine Fortnum Ceramics. Award-winning ceramicist Katherine will guide each participant through pinching and sculpting clay into a rounded pumpkin, then twisting and carving its stalk. Colour, a delicate leaf or a playful face will add individual character. The handmade pumpkins will be professionally dried and bisque fired, creating decorative keepsakes to display beyond the autumn season.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available on selected dates, year round; exclusion dates may apply and opening times vary
• Booking up to six months in advance is recommended
• Minimum age: 8 years; under 18s must be accompanied by a full-paying adult
• Please allow two hours for the full experience, including a short period after the class to discuss the finished pieces; please arrive five minutes before the scheduled start
• Wear clothing suitable for working with clay, as it may get messy
• The studio is not wheelchair accessible, as access involves steps
• Finished pieces will remain at the studio for drying and bisque firing before collection; postage is available for an additional fee
• Rescheduling requires at least 14 days’ notice, and the replacement workshop must take place within four weeks of the original date
• Please bring refreshments; a toilet is available
