My daughters and I enjoyed the treatment very much , the steam room and the lunch, but the spa facilities where limited and not nearly as good as the Leonardo Tower hotel Rena spa - which had such a calming professional atmosphere , with much more space to relax in both , around the pool area and near the treatment area also better steam , sauna, jacuzzi facilities generally and lovely towelling robes -
St Paul’s spa was busy and felt slightly frantic and had limited relaxation areas and nothing around the pool - the music was loud and not calming and the lights and diffusers not set on arrival - the treatments were excellent and the staff helpful and courteous. Part of the problem for me is the difficulty of booking through buy a gift as it’s very tricky to add a voucher to the system and then adapt it or add on another person . Chat bots don’t help when there is a genuine need to change a situation due to illness , the spa are helpful and can try and reserve treatments but can’t do anything until buy a gift confirms -which can take days to confirm - there are times when you need to speak to a human being to sort out a problem- not text messages and then waiting for days in the hope that but a gift team have confirmed at the spa . I found it generally unnecessarily complicated to navigate the booking system when trying to use a gift voucher and then adding someone else , is very tricky .
The spa offers also keep changing which dosent help - the original Rena spa treatment with lunch and a glass of Prosecco for 2 at the Leonardo Tower hotel was really fantastic and I m sorry that I couldn’t book that again .Buy a gift , please think about simplifying your booking system and employing customer service teams who can be spoken to on the telephone for consultation. It would certainly encourage me to buy more of these offers -
