Best spa day ever
Went with a friend to Botley Park Hotel and had such a lovely day. Had a massage and facial and it was so relaxing ????

Good in parts
Myself and my best friend had mixed feelings about our spa day at the Macdonald Botley hotel. Signage to find the hotel were very poor, the lockers in the changing rooms were either broken or didn’t work, there were no glasses for drinks in the relaxation room and when we asked for some, the staff member wasn’t happy to have been asked, decor is old and tired in parts and staffing minimal. Drinks over priced and waited 20 minutes to be served at the bar despite there only being one other customer. Crockery not clean.
On the plus side, spa staff very helpful and friendly, afternoon tea was delicious and very well presented and the spa treatment was outstanding although finished 10 minutes early. Pool was warm and steam room and sauna just fine. I wouldn’t buy this as a gift for anyone although might come again being prepared for the shortcomings this time. What made the day was spending time with my best friend.

Not the Best
Hotel Spa needs alot of love, and a good scrub. Also a little heating wouldn't go a miss. Sauna was broken, treatment rooms were cold spa relax lounge was cold. Changing rooms need updating and cleaning. Pool roof covered in black mould.
