About the experience
Sink into a slow, restorative day at Spa Naturel Dunkenhalgh, where two treatments totalling 50 minutes, an afternoon tea and the run of the spa facilities are all yours. Home for the day is Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa, a 700-year-old country manor house in landscaped grounds near Blackburn, so the calm settles in long before you've changed into your robe. A glass of fruit juice greets you on arrival, and from there you'll drift between the indoor pool, the thermal suite and the gym before afternoon tea rounds everything off.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum group size: six people, with a maximum of two vouchers accepted on Sundays
- Available Sunday-Friday, year round, with spa access from 9.45am to 3pm
- Available Monday-Friday, the pool closes for swimming from 10.30am to 11.10am, with the sauna, steam rooms and whirlpool remaining open
- Total treatment time: 50 minutes
- Please inform the supplier of any medical conditions, dietary requirements or health concerns when booking
- Please pack flip flops, gym wear and swimwear
- Please bring your voucher and email confirmation on the day

Shambles
Was told on arrival that the booking was for 2 pm , this was not what i asked for , so unfortunately we didnt get to have any of it as we couldnt stay till 2 pm , disgusting and paid for absolutely nothing.

Spa with treatment for 2 and afternoon tea
I bought the vouchers online for myself and my husband. The booking process was very easy to follow. We loved our experience at Dukenhalgh. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were good. I was really chuffed that they also had options for dairy free/gluten free and halal. Our treatments were good too.

Buy a Gift? More Like Buy a Grift
I have never come across such inept and poor customer service in my life. Avoid this company at all costs. Contacted them directly to book my experience because even though it was listed in the catalogue, I was unable to book directly. The customer service person booked the wrong experience and to date I have spent over 7 hours on their chat service plus multiple emails trying to rectify this. Despite 6 weeks notice and multiple communications from me pointing out they booked the wrong experience (in a different country!) and asking them to rectify this, they allowed the date of the booking to pass and then contacted me the next day to say as the booking date had passed they can’t refund. I bought this as a gift for my parents last Christmas and it’s been nothing but stress and £100 down the drain. Worst retail experience I’ve ever had.

Lovely setting that would benefit from some TLC Friendly and helpful staff . The therapist and the treatments were lovely as was the afternoon tea. Will definitely recommend this spa experience and will be re booking myself soon
