About the experience
Swap tarmac for mud and put a Land Rover or Range Rover through its paces on a purpose-built off-road course in the Cheshire countryside. With expert guidance from a professional instructor, tackle ruts, inclines and tricky terrain and discover how a 4x4 keeps its grip when the ground gets unpredictable. Pick up practical techniques for controlled climbs and descents, then enjoy the satisfaction of steering through challenging sections with growing confidence.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available Tuesday–Sunday, year round
- Minimum age: 17 years; participants must hold a full manual driving licence and bring it on the day
- Recommended to book several weeks in advance for the most popular weekend dates
- Please allow three hours for this experience; includes 30-40 minutes of driving time
- Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather (such as flooding or high winds); please contact the venue if in any doubt
- This experience is shared with two other participants, taking turns to drive; an instructor will be in the vehicle at all times
- Guests are welcome to come along and use the on-site facilities, although the off-road course is difficult to watch from
- Dress for the outdoors with stout footwear and a waterproof jacket
- The venue is a British Off Road Driving Association member and the majority of instructors are trained by Land Rover; a preferred vehicle model is subject to availability

Having the afternoon tea in the castle setting, nestled amongst the woods was fantastic! The tea itself was lovely- very good quality and just the right amount. The service was great- the waitress who was attending to us was friendly and very professional. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful gift to receive - a night in a Castle !
We loved our visit to the Castle for my birthday - we had a champagne afternoon tea, a lovely dinner and then somehow fitted in breakfast too. A fantastic castle and grounds. My opportunity to be a princess for a day !

Myself and my husband attended a afternoon tea at Peckforton Castle on Friday which was bought as a gift for us andit was a brilliant day and the setting is beautiful, the only criticism is the choice of sandwiches as I am a fussy eater and I did enjoy them but everything else was excellent and would recommend it to friends and family
