The gift that never happened
Unfortunately I had an accident and was unable to make my birthday treat and told I could not reschedule. Thank you for a stay I was so looking forward to that didn’t happen. ??

Worst gift ever
The first thing we didn't go to the lake district we went to sharnock richard we didn't get breakfast I already had to pay £34 before you would let us book anything your customer service is appalling no one answered the questions asked about why I had to pay more before I had even picked a hotel then when we picked a hotel in the lake district the hotel contacted me and said they no longer use bug a gift due to shoddy company, yet the hotel is still on your website. When we booked into the hotel this weekend they said we have booked with Expedia and we didn't book a breakfast. My children bought us this weekend due to my husband having cancer they booked bed and breakfast and one evening meal we were told by the hotel the weekend cost £129 and it was a basic booking .

Disappointing
Only stated one night , staff miserable, room smelt, pillows unusable, shower constantly coming in randomly. Did not sleep at all. Breakfast wasn’t told about the cooked breakfast only the continental, mattress soiled. Complained to the manager upon leaving. Said she would refund our stay. Still waiting for Buyagift to process this.

Did not cover the cost of the gift bought
My daughter bought this gfor me for Christmas 2023. Unfortunately, I had a breast cancer diagnosis so couldn't use it for 2024. I extended the voucher and paidthe extra fee but when I tried to book what my daughter had bought me there was nothing available within the price range so I ended up paying an extra £160 to facilitate the already purchased vouher of the value of £199. Would not use again
