Lovely stay
We stay at Samuel Pepys frequently when visiting family.Always feel at home and delicious food and wonderful staff.

Great value and in a good location
This was a complete ‘shot in the dark’. My wife and I had never been to Harwich - and knew nothing about the hotel except insofar as it was available on line.
We found the town very interesting - and certainly struck lucky with our choice of hotel. Excellent accommodation and very good value evening meals and drinks.
We did feel that the ‘light breakfast’ could have been improved - but this was a minor point in the context of what was a most enjoyable couple of days.
