Two Night Glamping Break at River View Touring Park

Absolutely amazing stay at this campsite. The pod was lovely and we will definitely return.

Well even my 5 year old told me how much he loved this place and he wants to go back. We stayed in a pod, no complaints, great facilities & the effort the owners have gone to providing that extra mile. A bar open from 6-10pm, an BBC area for the children to play games on right next door. Right down to dog walks also for our four legged members of the family. Barney my dog loved paddling in the idyllic stream and we all want to go back & spend longer there. Thank you

The pod was perfect. Everything you need for a cosy weekend in November. Underfloor heating, spacious, tv, cooker, kettle, toasters and all lots and pans. Close to the Brecon beacons National park so we went hiking one day. Campsite had lovely facilities and a cosy bar with a fire pit and pool table.

Had a fantastic couple of nights in pod number one. Pod was meticulously clean and came equipped with just about everything you need. A small fridge, mini oven/hob, kettle, toaster, Tv/dvd, pans/crockery/cutlery, complimentary tea/coffee, a tray of biscuits and even a loaf of bread - we just brought bedding, food and drink. Outside the pod is a decking area, complete with a table and chairs and a barbecue, so you can sit and watch/listen to the river as you cook your tea (or have it cooked for you!). The toilet/shower/washing facilities are a short (1 minute) walk away and are also spotlessly clean, with COVID distancing measures in place, hand sanitizer everywhere and clear instructions on what is expected of you. The pod itself was bigger than we expected, with a bench table that folds down to make a large, comfy bed, without taking up all of the room In the pod. It was warm and cosy (we didn’t use the underfloor heating!) and even when it did rain, we could have the door open, because of the small porch that lead onto the decked area, which overlooked the river. It’s as private or as social as you like, you’re not overlooked by other residents. Lots of things to do and places to visit in the surrounding area. I’ve no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone and have already shared it with my work colleagues.
