Wonderful stay at The Charterhouse
We enjoyed a great 2 nights at the Charterhouse bed and breakfast in late March 2025. Lisa welcomed us, nothing was too much trouble, She and her partner provided very tasty breakfasts and there was plenty of good quality food choices. Our room had a sea view, which was extra. The room was very well presented, and a credit to the owners. Parking was good. The Charterhouse is close to the railway station, which is handy for the steam train trips! It is a bit of a walk to the town centre and the harbour area but, not at all unpleasant especially when the weather is better than it was for us! There are many good restaurants in Torquay so the walking exercise was good. We would highly recommend and hope we can visit again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A Complete waste of! Time
Could not find any hotels were we wanted to go. Hotels were charging more than if you booked them yourself.

Poor selection and difficult to search for hotels included
I can't believe there are glamping options here which are cheaper to book direct rather than through the voucher. They are not hotels! The selection of hotels included has gone downhill compared to 2 years ago. We had to spend an extra £110 on top of the voucher price to get what we wanted.

Really great gift
You can't go wrong here a very nice and friendly atmosphere here. Great room with fantastic sea views and the breakfast is to die for a really big 10/10.
