Lovely day out
The Hyde hall gardens and afternoon tea experience was easy to organise and communications were excellent.

Nice day out
We were given tickets for Hyde Hall and then tea at an Hotel in Stock, Greenwoods Spa Hotel.
The visit to Hyde Hall was lovely, with plenty to see and admire.
It was difficult to find the Hotel, not helped by only Ellis Restaurant being visible from the road.
The tea to drink was ordinary tea bags. We would have had to pay extra for speciality teas, which was a bit mean minded. The sandwiches snd scones were nice enough, without being outstanding.
The cakes were a big disappointment. We like teacakes, fruitcake, gingerbread and parkin, all traditional cakes. There was not one dingle cake of this kind. They were all sickly sweet looking and covered in buttercream. We didn't touch them. It would be nice to have a choice about the type of cake on offer.
The staff did not attend to us, other than to bring the tea and the food and no one asked whether we were okay. I would not bebin a hurry to have afternoon tea there again., although the room was lovely.

RHS Hyde Hall
A lovely afternoon out at RHS Hyde Hall using our Buyagift voucher given as a Christmas present. I hope our afternoon tea with the rest of the voucher will be as good.

Difficult to use
Hyde Hall is well worth the visit. Very beautiful.
The gift is difficult to use as you need to fix a date in advance by 'booking with the RHS' and the date can be changed iwithout 72 hours notice. Which is poor really.

Had a lovely day walking around the gardens. Weather was amazing so had a picnic with a fantastic view.
